BioI'm Emily, a 24-year-old third-year history PhD student at the University of Minnesota. I used this journal as the topic for a column I wrote in high school (Uni High) for the local newspaper. I graduated from Williams College in spring 2007. I like to make music, write, play with babies, swim, and not work on incomprehensible readings; I love the smell of old books and I can eat an unlimitable quantity of white rice; I read moralistic children's literature from the 19th century and write too-long biographies. I'm interested in: the word "rapture" and people who are organic to their own lives.
